Thessaloniki is getting ready to welcome back one of Greece’s most popular laiko singers. Nikos Vertis is returning to Thessaloniki’s nightlife scene, after approximately four years away from the city’s major music venues.


According to the latest information, the popular Greek artist is expected to perform at the historic Pyli Axiou, in a collaboration that is already generating strong interest ahead of the new entertainment season in Thessaloniki.


When Will Nikos Vertis Start Performing in Thessaloniki?


Nikos Vertis’ highly anticipated premiere is expected to take place in late August or early September 2026, coinciding with one of Thessaloniki’s busiest periods and the start of the Thessaloniki International Fair season.


The exact opening date has not yet been officially announced.


According to current reports, his performances in Thessaloniki are expected to continue until approximately mid-October, before the singer returns to Athens.


A Major Return After Four Years


Nikos Vertis’ return is particularly significant for Thessaloniki’s nightlife scene.

The singer has had a long-standing connection with the city and performed for many years at Orama, with his previous Thessaloniki appearances continuing until 2022.
